Hill Country School of Prophets is a Bible-based, Holy Spirit-led coaching and mentoring style school located in New Braunfels, Texas, where you can discover if you are called to be a prophet and how to become a healthy, mature and whole-hearted office prophet who is connected to healthy community. This school is an encounter-oriented, activation-style training that equips you to know what kind of a prophet you are, where your sphere of influence is and teaches you the gifts and character needed to grow into a healthy and trustworthy new covenant prophet.

There hasn't been alot of teaching on the five-fold gifts of Christ in the church and to be honest, some of it isn't complete. The people who are called by God to these office gifts are to equip the saints for the work of "ministry" - to administrate the Kingdom on the earth today. And this doesn't just mean within the four walls of the church!

Prophets are here not only to prophesy or to help others hear God and to grow in prophetic ministry, they are to be catalysts in the world to help bring breakthrough in their sphere of influence or metron. And the way they will do this is as varied as the different kinds of prophets we see in the Bible.

We are called to be New Covenant Prophets with a glorious eschatology that sees the Kingdom advancing and God's people leading the way from glory to glory!

Yet there are so many people still confused about their identity, their calling, their purpose and their positioning. It is a long and hard road from being called a prophet and becoming a chosen office prophet who is exercising his or her authority properly and maturely. And this is why the Hill Country School of Prophets exists!

We want to help you get clear on your calling, if you are called, and to discover what kind of prophet you are. We want to help you grow in your gifting, mature in your character, as well as in your relationship skills, so you have healthy community and leadership potential. THE CURRICULUM

Welcome to The Hill Country School of Prophets

We meet Tuesday nights from 5:30-8:00 p.m. and gather one Saturday each month for prophetic activations around the region. The 1st year School is broken down into six modules. These modules are designed to accelerate your journey from calling to the office and develop your prophetic voice and identity as a New Covenant Prophet. Location: Legacy Church, New Braunfels, in the sanctuary. We will have a time of worship, teaching, discussion and activation.
Module 1 : The Journey Of A Prophet

In this module, we will discuss the journey from calling to office as a prophet. We will explore how to hear God, embracing the core values of the prophetic, learning joy, teachability, prophesying out of the new covenant, community mindset of a healthy prophet, becoming prophets of love, prophets who forgive, being prophets of provision, and how to draw in healthy mentors. We will also activate prophesying from a victorious eschatology and mindset, seeing visions, discerning prophesy, practicing various triggers like seeing familiar faces and prophesying through numbers. We will also explore other fun ways to grow in the prophetic.
Module 2 : Prophets, Priests and Kings

In this module, we will discuss how prophets bring the Kingdom and how they do it through prophecy. We will address why prophets must not have a political prejudice, how to influence influencers and learn to live accepted by God. Prophets don't let fear rule them and we will do acts that break fear specifically. Healthy prophets love accountability and must learn to rule their spirit. Prophets are called to bring breakthrough and we will learn when to release the prophetic and when to hold it. We will activate by releasing prophetic acts that shift things and fully step into our identity as Son/Daughter and Bride of Christ. We will also discuss seers and how they may be prophets, although not every prophet is a seer.
Module 3 : Prophets and the Supernatural Realm

In this module, we will discuss how prophets are called to live in heavenly places and grow their relationship with God so they can release heaven's atmosphere wherever they go. But prophets must also learn to live in humility and healthy submission. We will discuss what ecstatic prophesy is and how to activate signs and wonders and steward theophany and angelic encounters and operate in the spirit realm. Prophets must learn to strengthen themselves through their prophetic words and yet not move in presumption. Prophets must understand how to engage and disengage with warfare, walk in authority and shift rooms with love, joy and peace. We will activate words of knowledge and how to do this on the streets. We will regularly encounter the heart of our good Father and learn to release His heart to his children.
Module 4 : Identity and Diversity of Prophets

In this module, we will once again review, how you can know if you are indeed a prophet. We will address the confusion that comes and how to remove any unfair comparisons. We will discuss the motivational design gifts and embrace their variety in prophets. We will review how you receive revelation as a prophet and how to find your current metron. We will review how to embrace mentors and learn what things can disqualify you as a prophet. We want to grow your identity as a prophet, discover your uniqueness, and establish a healthy work ethic so you can know if you are ready for the office of the prophet. We will activate ways to pray on how to get a heart for a person, people group or nation. We will discuss what it means to be a watchmen prophet, a psalmist prophet, a revivalist prophet, intercessor prophet and Aaron prophet. We will also gain understanding of what it means to be in covenant and stay in covenant as a prophet in healthy relationship with God and others.
Module 5 : The Presence and Voice Of A Prophet

In this module, we will practice ways to speak clearly and communicate effectively, speak with boldness, discover and speak your favorite message, speak with authority and how to speak within a team. We will continue to learn how to rule your gift and how to prophesy in a group. We will continue to grow by knowing your identity as a prophet, correctly interpret the atmosphere and how to shift it, and especially when releasing corporate words over a church. Prophets must love the Word of God and know the Word of God. We will activate how to lean into the nabi flow of the prophetic and how to equip others as well.
Module 6 : Healthy Prophets In Community

In this module, we will discuss how to navigate relationships well. We will learn how to engage in healthy confrontation, maintain healthy boundaries in relationships, embrace healthy levels of vulnerability, and maintain honor. We will grow and practice the gift of discernment, words of knowledge, the power of thankfulness, laughter and halal. We will break off the poverty spirit and work on how to share our testimony in a powerful way. We will learn to step into prophesying over nations and how to become prophets who are in it for the long-haul.

CINDY HATCHER, Director of Hill Country School of Prophets

Cindy is a multi-passionate Kingdom Entrepreneur who loves to help leaders "Live Well, Love Deeply and Lead Boldly".

Cindy owns and operates a private practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, where for 24 years, she has worked with individuals, couples, and families, specializing in relationship issues, eating disorders/addiction and trauma recovery. She has served as a clinician and administrator in non-profit organizations, residential treatment centers and inpatient psychiatric care. She is a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and a Clinical Member of Christian Counselors of Texas.

Cindy is also a Certified 7 Mountain Professional Coach and the CEO and Founder of Revive Leadership International, LLC, a company that offers transformational leadership coaching, prophetic consulting, inner healing prayer ministry, courses, masterminds and retreats that help leaders become Whole Hearted and succeed at work/life balance and abundance. She is a member of Christian Coaches Network International and is a Qualified HeartSync Facilitator.

As a Spirit-filled Christian minister, Cindy is a recognized and commissioned apostolic prophet and revivalist trainer who loves to teach, equip and empower the Body of Christ. Cindy is happily married to her college sweetheart, Chris Hatcher. They have two amazing children and reside in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas.

STEPHEN AND KATHRINE DOWELL, Coaches, Trainers and Community Gathering Hosts

Stephen Dowell is a powerful emerging prophet and serves his local church in New Braunfels as the Men's Ministry Director and an elder. He is certified Emerging Prophets Prophetic Consultant and School Trainer. He also serves as a consultant to Prophetic Finders, a prophetic prayer ministry that helps local law enforcement to find missing children. He works as a detective for the New Braunfels Police Department and has previously served in the military. He carries the Father's heart for men to become leaders and to fully walk out their identity in Christ.

Kathrine Dowell has a strong prophetic gift and walks in supernatural love for others. She is an emerging pastor of women's hearts and specifically wants to see people healed and living in healthy community. Kathrine faithfully serves her local church in New Braunfels as the Connections Director and also assists in the women's ministry. She works at a local elementary school as a fourth grade teacher, not only impacting the next generation but their families and the school staff and leaders, as well.

Stephen and Kathrine are a dynamic duo who display what healthy marriage can look like. They both carry a father's and mother's heart for others and want to see prophets and prophetic men and women find their confidence in Christ and to know how to do relationships and family well. They open their home to host regular Community Gatherings where students can have a safe and healthy place to practice authentic connection in community. They are also coaches and trainers in the school, providing assistance to each level of our program.

SHARON GREEN, Coach, Trainer and Intercessor

Sharon Green is an emerging prophet who serves her local church in Bulverde as an teacher, intercessor and sings on the worship team that her husband Glenn leads. Sharon is a certified Emerging Prophets Prophetic Consultant and an iPEC Certified Professional Coach who helps leaders get breakthrough and transformation as they go from uncertainty to clarity. She loves to help people discover their purpose and become all that God has called them to be.

Sharon serves our school as a coach, trainer and intercessor in each level of our programs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Hill Country School of Prophets affiliated with any one church or denomination?

We are a Bible-based, Spirit-led and fully Kingdom-focused school. We are not affiliated with any one church or denomination, however, we are graciously hosted by Legacy Church, New Braunfels.

When and where will the School be held?

For the 2025-2026 school year, we will begin on August 19th and continue through June 2nd. We will meet each Tuesday from 5:30pm-8:00pm in the sanctuary of Legacy Church, New Braunfels. We will also have a monthly 2-hour Prophetic Activation somewhere around the region, usually on the first Saturday. Dates and times TBD.

What are the requirements for completing the school? How much time should I expect to invest each week?

Students must participate in at least 80% of class time each week and may only have up to 3 absences for the year. A book must be read and a one-page report turned in by the end of each module. There are six modules. Books are not included and can all be found on Amazon. Expect a minimum of 4-5 hours a week needed.

What if I am not sure I am called to be a prophet? Should I still attend the school?

Yes! This is why the school exists! We want to help you discover the keys to knowing and understanding the identity, calling and metron of an office prophet and to develop the best path for a healthy, mature prophet while on the journey from calling to office. You will learn how to grow in the gift of prophecy and become a trusted prophetic voice even if you aren't sure if you are called to the office yet.

I am pretty confident that I am called to be a prophet. Should I attend the school?

Yes! We will not only consider the various ways to test your calling, but the journey of a called prophet into the authority of the office prophet can be as long as 30 years! Just look at the story of Joseph or David in the bible. This School can help to accelerate your journey, avoiding the common pitfalls along the way. Everyone can be refined if they are humble and teachable to go through that process. What better way than to do it in a supportive community with other prophets?

Will the classes be recorded? What happens if I have to miss a class?

We will audio record each class to be made available exclusively to students who must miss.

Once I complete this school, what happens next?

Those who complete the requirements of the School will graduate with a Certificate of Completion and be given an invitation to join the 2nd Year Program of the School. Those who do not complete the requirements will be offered an opportunity to repeat the 1st Year Program at a significantly reduced rate.
